[Resolved] Changing Texture Quality
« on: April 26, 2017, 11:37:44 PM »
(v15, linux)

When changing texture quality the game doesn't change textures properly on the fly after saving the settings (interface textures change to black) and I have to restart the program. Then it's ok.

I'm not sure whether it's a bug, linux specific, or working as intended. In case it's the latter, perhaps when having time you may want to add a dialog prompting the game's restart for the settings to take effect (perhaps two options: restart or revert changes, now it's irreversible).

[Fix Req] Changing Texture Quality

I understand it's an engine bug, and common to all OS - it was one of the reasons I wanted to upgrade Unity. Since upgrading didn't work, I've been thinking along the exact same lines.

Took a slightly quicker route - added a note to tooltip to make players aware that texture quality will not update until restart. Then, next time the game starts, the changes will be made.
