LMAO... I don't even watch that show and I know Alf. A minor Aussie icon, I suppose.  =)
(By the way... after I wrote that, I still went and checked on google to see if I was thinking of the right person. =P  )

I don't know about the Chaser. I'm only guessing, but I think they've moved onto other things.
One of the guys is doing a series called "War on Waste". Pointing out how much stuff people dump in a year - Clothes/Food/Plastic bags/etc.

re the Chaser, yeah sorry, have checked the dates now... One may say am a bit late to the show:)

Yeah... Alf... beloved TV icon. He's a character in Home and Away, I think. I usually say Neighbours, but I think that's wrong, which is why I'm saying Home and Away now.
I could look it up... but I really don't care that much. =P

I guess it would take a while for the show to trickle to other countries.
