(v24, linux)
Just opening this in case will be handy for keeping track of effects that can persist from a battle to a battle.
Right now (v24) am certain only about this one:
-- On fire (though it doesn't deal any damage, tooltip says 0HP)
-
Must have missed this one - will be fixed for V25.
-
Have tried to recreate this a couple of times, no luck here. Have tried just being on fire and ending combat standing on a fire tile.
-
Hm. Unfortunately fire isn't just my imagination, have a screenshot. Is it possible there would be any difference if it happens from a barrel?
Edit: From looking at the screenshot, Sam started Arcadi's mission on fire but when I loader the prior save the fire is no longer. Though replayed this mission and can recreate persisting fire.
So Sam was standing next to a barrel and an enemy activates it. He stays at least one turn inside fire. The guys finish one enemy. Sam goes out of fire with 1hp and heals. Then Arcadi finishes the second enemy. The battle ends before Sam's next turn.
The next I launch the next ally's mission (Elena's) right away and, yup, Sam is on fire on the start. Reloaded an autosave and launched the mission again - no fire icon. So it doesn't persist in save.
-
No doubt it's happening, there must be some other variable at play. It sounds like Arcadi's Stand Fast might have activated, unsure if that could be a factor, but next time opportunity presents itself, will see.
-
That's a good idea. There was 1hp situation after all, albeit don't exactly recall any perk text. However, maybe more like something around incapacitation by fire? (i.e. before stand fast goes into play) Because the last time it was before Arkadi. Think was playing cat and mouse with the enforcer on the Ray's mission. In the save Sam has an injury, it's possible he went down by fire...
-
If there are no observed negative effects, and it's depending on unknown factors to recreate, can just reset this data at the start of a mission.
-
Sounds good, if that's easiest to do. Yeah, it's really minor, AFAIK only on fire icon in the right bottom corner and even that goes away, haven't experienced anything else.
-
Think I recall one more effect: Critical charge
A few times started a battle with an ally having higher critical chance. Seems the build up can transfer to the next battle (at least when it comes to melee). Resets on the next critical hit all right. Maybe this one behaviour is intended.
-
Hey, will look into that one too.
-
Both fixed.
