Downloading the newest version

Sorry to be a pain... but I have no idea how I initially got Version 10 from Humble.
I don't even know if I have an account.

Your Kickstarter update says "If you have entered the link for Vigilantes and it isn't showing up in your Humble account"...
What link?
Is everything going completely over my head or am I missing some information?
Are you assuming "common" information? I expect it's me... but I don't suppose you could write the Kickstarter updates with the assumption that some of the backers don't know everything (like whether they even have a Humble account or a link).

Or... am I supposed to have received a separate email that hasn't arrived yet?

Hey Nomad, it's no problem at all! It's possible you downloaded it from IndieDB. The indie DB version isn't being updated anymore.

I should have sent you a kickstarter message with a link to redeem your copy of Vigilantes. Let me know if I somehow missed you, and let me know your KS name. You just need to enter this link in your browser, and enter your email address (preferably the one your humble account is linked to, if you have one). After that, if Vigilantes doesn't show up in your humble account, try doing this to claim it:

1) Go to purchases
2) At top, you should see "You have unclaimed purchases"
3) Click down arrow beside this text
4) Vigilantes should appear in this list
5) Press Claim Order

Ok... cool... I found the link... and the problem.
The link doesn't require a humble account.
I don't have a humble account, so when the link fails, I don't have a purchases tab.
