[Resolved] Interrogation freeze

I know the first 4 levels of information on every block (except a few blocks that reported no gang, as they don't show the Crime Rate and I didn't bother looking harder).

Did an interrogation against a Survivalist and asked for Mafia intel.
I used Sodium Thiopental and ended up with a 96% chance of success.

When I hit the Interrogate button the game froze. It's been frozen for over five minutes and doesn't look like it's going to recover.

Enjoy your rest and thanks for the help! Will you send on the save file? It would be a big help in figuring out what's going wrong. No rush, will be working on maps for the next 2 days or so, but will do an initial pass on bugs after that.

Can I ask roughly how long in hours played it took to reveal everything?

I have no concept of time. I thought I'd played around 3 hours on my first run... and then I worked out that it had actually been closer to 9 hours.

So... I thought I'd played another 2-3 hours.
If we go by my previous estimation of time... that would probably have added another 6-9 hours onto the 9 already played.

So, in answer to your question on roughly how many hours I played before revealing the first 4 elements on most city blocks... looks to have taken me around 15-18 hours.

Finally...
I recreated it.

I had a 93% chance of interrogation. Asked Mafia for Survivalist when I know the first 4 pieces of info on each block (except for the Wealth levels of the blocks with no gang on them).

It took me something like 5 goes before I finally had a person I could interrogate and then (I assume) managed to get them to spill the beans.

Didn't we have this problem before? It's trying to tell me about an underboss or something? Or was it facilities that was crashing it before? I can't remember. I suppose I can check back through the forum.  =)

Thanks for the save. Guessing it must have something to do with the condition to exit the intel finding logic when no intel is available.

Good to know. Don't think the city map will be getting any bigger in that case.

lol.... I'm trying to fail at interrogation. I managed once... then I succeeded with a 45% chance and it froze.
The cool thing is... the bug is repeatable.
Successful interrogation when only underbosses and Facilities are left to reveal.

Unfortunately, probably. They are going to be hard to find right now anyway - need to flesh out interrogation so you give more direction on what type of intel you want.

Will it be useful to try play through some of those facility maps via console, then?

Seems that at least the map itself
Map 30 - Bunker 1, Config: 0
is accessible via console for all gangs. Though isn't that the main of Survivalists?

However,
Map 31 - Warehouse 1, Config: 1
is not initializing for me. But I dunno, it's early in play, gangs probably don't have secondary facilities yet...

You could access them that way, but don't think they would have the tougher defenders. Oops - there's an issue with a light in warehouse - is fixed now.

Rewrote code for handling no intel to give from interrogation. No longer crashing.
