Bullet ricochet sound not muted

My daughter watches children's shows on youtube on my second monitor while I play. So, I turn off the music and sound for the game.

With the sound turned all the way down, the ricochet sound can still be heard.

In v20 there were also looped sounds that continued play when SFX was turned off: cracking fire and that running bug.

Are you sure she is paying attention to those children's shows and not to the second monitor?
(just that it wasn't letting me to access Daithi's steam page when had cookies off, there is some violent age required)

Ahh... sounds like it's a known issue then.
No worries.

She only tends to look at the second monitor when she hears something. That's how I can tell I haven't muted my games.  =)

Well, depends on definition of known... If it's like somebody might have took a passing notice but completely forgot to report, and then is very thankful when somebody else does it, so can just drop a note in "and by the way, did you know..." fashion
