Unless there is a game mechanic reason, can Sam start with his primary weapon out?
The weapon is still in his slot, it's just that every other member of the team has their gun out, while Sam starts with his fists and the gun has to be selected.
If it's a game mechanic thing, like because he's used for conversations or something, then I totally understand.
