Since it became allowed to attack through half-cover corners the move+attack functionality isn't taking this into account properly.
See the following example:
Upon mouseover on the enemy the game calculates and then executes longer path for move+attack then necessary. It would suffice for Sam to stop at the corner to be able to attack.

+ Fixed pathing for move + queued close combat not always picking the shortest move path
Though from the description it isn't 100% clear to me if it's the same thing, so will leave it here, but please don't hesitate close or delete this.
